Purchase Manager / Engineer

• Co-ordinate improvements in quality with vendors to comply with company norms
• Ensure no production delays because of raw-material supply
• Maintain adequate inventory levels and credit periods for health cash-flow
• On-time procurement of raw material such as castings, copper-winding, steel, bearings, stampings, etc used as components of pumps and motors
• Responsible for new vendor search, evaluation, registration, and management
• Skilled in price reduction, negotiations, and costing calculation activities
• Work closely with engineering for RFQ and with manufacturing for PPC
